Sand Witch Inc. was founded in 2006 and had a May 2007 product launch. The brain child of Deborah Anastos, a New Jersey wife and mother, graphic designer and recent graduate of Rutgers University, Sand Witch was created and is made in New Jersey, a state that enjoys a beautiful coastline with amazing beaches.

The beaches in New Jersey are enjoyed by 50 million visitors each year. Sand Witch was created so that beachgoers everywhere could enjoy the beach without having to bring the sand back home with them.

Feature stories have appeared in The Bergen Record (Memorial Day Weekend, Sunday, May 27, 2007), the Asbury Park Press (Wednesday, July 4, 2007) and the Sand Paper (Wednesday, July 4, 2007) in New Jersey. Some of these stories have been picked up by other newspapers from Rhode Island to Florida, across to Chicago, Utah and even all the way to St. Thomas and St. John in the Virgin Islands. We have been interviewed by Jones & Heather of Lite Rock 105 in Providence, RI and we have received so many phone calls and emails from people who are loving this new product and have found many other uses for it.
